One of the most rewarding elements of parenthood is making new memories with your child. When you can share your passions with them, it really is the cherry on top. In a world full of screens and stagnancy, it’s important for parents to instill the “forgotten regards” of nature, exploring, and creativity. It’s our duty to teach our children how to navigate the great outdoors, as well as enjoy it.

There’s nothing like seeing the spark in a child’s’ eyes when they discover something new. Where we live in Central Arkansas, there is plenty of room to roam and explore. We try to spend as much time outdoors as Mother Nature will graciously allow. Some of our favorite family pastimes are fishing from our pond, antler shed hunting, going for walks/hikes, identifying wildlife, as well as foraging for wild berries, pecans, and persimmons.
