A dad teaches us the values of perseverance and the patience to get where we need in life. He can be a man of few words, but when he speaks, you listen. He may even have a stern demeanor, but is gentle past the shell. He teaches us of trial and error by nudging us to always test the waters- no matter the current. He cautions us with stable advice and always prides in our successes.
He’s our first exposure to piggy back rides and wrestling on the floor. He teaches us the components of a toolbox and the functions of a drill. Through his knowledge and examples, he is both an inspiration and a true role model.
