Longhorn Crab

This crab pattern excels when when sight fishing to picky fish in skinny water with plenty of fish seducing movement that excels when other flies are getting rejected. At rest, the hackle at the rear flares out like a defensive crab, but when retrieved in short successive strips it has the action similar to a fleeing shrimp. A great all around fly that has proven success on the shallow flats and backwater marshes.
