Fly of the Month for May is Dave Hughes' Grizzly and Gray Flymph -Size 12 A Flymph is a pattern that can immitate both a fly and a nymph. This pattern from Dave Hughes' 2015 "Wet Flies" is an all purpose fly that doesn't look exactly like anything, but looks enough like a lot of things to be effective. I can attest to the effectiveness of this fly, because l've fished it in my pond the past month. It not only caught its share of my plentifull bluegill, but also caught more of my more illusive crappie than I've caught...
