Abel Fly Reels — Precision-Machined in the USA Since 1980
Abel has spent over four decades perfecting the art of the fly reel. Built by hand in Montrose, Colorado, every Abel reel is machined from bar-stock aluminum and assembled by a team of roughly 50 craftspeople who take as much pride in the process as you do in the cast. The result is a reel that performs flawlessly on a spring creek in Colorado, a saltwater flat in Belize, or anywhere the fish take you.

- TR Series — A classic click-pawl large arbor reel with a smooth, satisfying check. Ideal for trout, panfish, and small stream applications.
- Vaya Series — Abel's mid-range workhorse. A sealed, cork-and-stainless disc drag in a lightweight frame that handles everything from 2-weights to heavy 5/6 setups.
