2024 AFF Household Membership
We want to ask you to renew your AFF membership or join us for 2024. Membership matters.
Your membership gives voice to things Flyfishers care about. AFF is one of the biggest and most active fly fishing and outdoors clubs in Arkansas. Our size makes a difference when we interact with entities that share our interests. AFF is known for having a thoughtful and engaged membership that advocates for and supports our sport.
AFF has a unique role in our fly fishing community and our most critical contributions come from our ability to help bring people into the sport and provide an environment of lifetime learning, service, and fellowship that sustains individuals’ ability and desire to remain in the sport. This is the essence of AFF’s ability to address its Conserve, Restore, and Educate mission. If AFF helps build a constituency of committed fly fishers, our sport and its resources are strengthened now and for future generations.
Your $30 Household Membership makes our “Conserve, Restore, and Educate” mission possible. Our club’s resource demands are significant.
The costs of maintaining a website and web services, equipment maintenance and storage, FFI membership and the liability insurance it provides, postage, and other such expenses add up quickly. Membership dues are an important part of meeting these expenses. Dues are not enough to do all of the things we want to do, but without them, we cannot cast to all the places we want to.
Renewal Incentive!
AFF is extremely fortunate to have the support of Kim Dollin's Ryder Run Guide Service and Condy Griffin's Fin & Feathers Fly Fishing the last few years as part of our annual membership drive.
They have generously donated guided trips to two lucky members!
Here’s how the chance to win a guided trip works…every individual who purchases a 2024 Household Membership by the March 18 monthly meeting will be entered into drawings for a half day guided trips with Kim and Cody. (Drawing includes those who already purchased their 2024 membership)
Many of you already know or have had the opportunity to meet Kim and Cody at an AFF event. If you have talked with them or have seen them on the river, you know they are passionate about the sport and love sharing their experience with fly fishers of all skill levels.
The support we get from sponsors like Kim and Cody and from fundraisers are how we are able to provide high quality monthly speakers and events, support to programs we all care about (things like Project Healing Waters, Casting for Recovery, the Mayfly Project, youth camps, etc.), casting and tying clinics, womens’ and other AFF events. Without sufficient membership dues, the funds from sponsorships and fundraising efforts are necessarily directed to meet our basic obligations.
Understanding the importance of membership is why we say all of that. Please renew or join today—especially since guided trips are on the table!
